Due to limited resources and demand for our post partum program, prenatal lactation & infant feeding consultations are, unfortunately, not available in the Willow Family Medicine at this time.
Currently, our program, only provides support following birth. If you or your child encounters or suspect feeding challenges, please have your care provider fax a referral to our program as soon as possible. If a referral is sent, but you do not require our help, you can always not book the appointment or cancel with sufficient notice. However, the sooner the referral is sent, the sooner we can help you and your family.
If you have experienced the below challenges or hope to increase your knowledge about infant feeding, the you may benefit from a focused prenatal consult and/or the following resources may be useful to you. Please note, all resources may not apply to every family and program availability varies.
