Our team looks forward to working with your family. To access the clinic:
A referral is required and can be sent by a doctor, nurse practitioner, midwife, audiologist, chiropractor, podiatrist, dentist, optometrist, or physical therapist. You can download the form here. Our program sees children up to one year old at the time of referral; occasionally, exceptions are made for older children on a case-by-case basis.
If you are a healthcare provider with a patient who requires urgent access, please email Dr. MacGregor (patient initials only). She will do her best to arrange a time to discuss your patient and/or triage your referral if possible. She endeavours to respond to your email within two business days.
Referrals are accepted via fax only. Please send to 1-780-665-2225 and allow two business days for processing.
Once processed, booking instructions will be sent to the patient via a secure messaging portal (Medeo) by email. A text message is also sent to alert patients to check their email.
The wait time for a first visit is 1-10 weeks, depending on referral volumes. Once a first in-person visit is completed, the wait time for follow-up appointments is typically a few days, with urgent slots available. While you wait, please visit this page to review your support options.
Fee for our Program:
As of December 2025, there is a one-time fee of $50.00 per dyad due at the time of booking your first visit. This fee covers the many non-insured services and products our program provides, which are essential to delivering gold-standard care. These include, but are not limited to, bottles, nipples, nipple shields, pump fittings, oral-motor assessment tools, and comprehensive resources. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, even if you choose to cancel your visit before your first appointment. This fee is due at the time of booking your first visit and must be submitted via electronic money transfer; it is non-refundable. Upon receipt, an invoice will be emailed. If the fee is not received, your visit booking will be declined. Please ensure the transfer and booking are completed at the same time.
Why the fee? Unfortunately, the provincial government continues to underfund programs like ours, and it is no longer financially sustainable to provide gold-standard, collaborative, comprehensive, and continuous care without this support. Rather than reducing time spent in direct patient care or limiting services at our clinic, we made the difficult decision to introduce this fee to ensure the sustainability of our program.
In the future, our program hopes to remove this fee. However, until clinics like ours are included in the updated provincial primary care compensation model, maintaining high-quality care without compromise remains necessary. If you have concerns about this, we encourage you to write your MLA to advocate for appropriate funding for families and primary care.
Once your referral is processed:
All appointments are booked online. All communication will be sent to the patient via email in a secure messaging portal. The telephone is the least effective way to contact our office.
Frenectomy, if indicated, and all other services during the visit are provided at no cost to families with Alberta Health Care. This procedure is not performed at the first in-person visit.
Infant feeding supplies are available at an additional cost to patients, as provincial health care does not cover these services.
All First Visits are offered in person; virtual visits are only available for select follow-up concerns.
Please visit here to review all your options for alternative care while you wait for your appointment.
